SERVICES PROVISION OF MARITIME SAFETY AND GENERAL SECURITY SERVICES, BOTH ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE Waterway travel and transportation are enormous in the country as such safety and security of lives and properties are of serious concern. The 1995 amendment STCW 1978 regulation of STCW convention which about 170 countries were signatories to, made provision for the safety and security on Sea and Waterway. There is so much violence (piracy) along the waterways, which the reasons for the insecurity has been identified as unusually poor Seafarer wages, depletion of natural resources, availability of buyers of stolen goods at sea and finally lack of enforceable laws. Apart from physical monitoring of the environment to fish out the bad eggs, we as well provide intelligence (spy) services
PROVISION OF CATERING / CONFECTIONERY SERVICES BOTH ON AND OFFSHORE We provide restaurant, food processors, food packaging, bottling services, eatery and confectioneries both onshore and offshore.
PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AROUND AND WITHIN THE JETTIES & WHARFS This is a revenue driving ventures as well a part of government social responsibility to the people. We undertake the establishment and management of recreational facilities to make the Jetties/Wharfs lively and conducive for the volume of traffic in and out of the jetties.
SUPPLY OF TRAINED PERSONNEL, CREWMEN & DECKHANDS We provide as manning agent trained personnel, Crewmen, Deckhands. And direct labour on board ship as well as receiving those who exit on board ship in our office for further documentation. PROVISION OF RESCUE OPERATION ON OUR WATERWAYS We also carry out search and swift response to distress calls in our waterways to save lives and properties or our people while first aid treatments are administered to victims.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL/PREVENTION OF POLLUTION ON OUR WATERWAYS We carry out environmental control services and prevention of pollution on our waterways by effectively monitoring of the waterways by our trained environmentalist to avoid dumping of toxic waste on our territorial waters, knowing fully well the adverse effect on humans.
